Archos Introduces Neon line of tablets




Archos has proposed a new generation of tablets with Neon. The devices come with a 9 ‘-, 9,7’ – and 10.1 “screen on the market, and seem to have been designed to complement its existing Elements tablet series.

The properties of the Neon tablets by Archos on its website published . According to the manufacturer, the three models all feature a quad-core soc with four Cortex A9 cores clocked at 1.6 GHz. To which model it is exactly Archos does not know. The software of the tablet is based on the now somewhat outdated Android 4.2. 8GB of storage is available, and the memory is 1GB amounts.

The 10.1 “model has a screen resolution of 1024×600 pixels, considerably lower than most high-end models on the market for the 9.7.” – And the 9 “model is the resolution 1024×768 pixels 800×480 pixels respectively, and all. models have to do with wifi: versions with support for 3G or 4G does not seem to be present.

Archos tablet has several series in its lineup, such as the Platinum and Titanium, which the manufacturer collectively called Elements. Since the Neon series mainly the low-and mid-endkant market will operate, it is likely that the manufacturer continues with the sale of the previous tablet series.

The prices of the new Neon series are not yet known: Archos models has not yet been included in its online store. Probably the Neon series is sold in the Netherlands, as he did in the previous series, too.
