Arctic brings its first water coolers for processors




Arctic has its first closed loop -waterkoelingsystemen released for processors. The manufacturer has two variants. The largest model capable of holding processors with a TDP of 300 watts cooling.

Manufacturer cooler Arctic air coolers has been making since 2001, but still had no water cooling for CPU’s in the range. With the introduction of the Liquid Freezer 120 and larger Liquid Freezer 240 there now changed. Like many other manufacturers are using Arctic products Asetek as a base.

According Arctic Liquid Freezer 240 is suitable to hold a CPU with 16 cores cooling while overclocking. The largest model has a radiator of 272mm long and 38mm thick. Arctic supplies four 120mm fans with it, which must be attached on both sides for a push-pull configuration. The PWM fans running from 500 to 1350rpm.

The smaller model, the Liquid Freezer 120 can with two fans to cool CPUs with TDP to 250 watts. The included fans have the same specifications as the larger model. According Acrtic adjusts the cooler because of its compact size in all closets where a 120mm fan fits. The Arctic Liquid Freezer 120 costs 100 euros, the larger Liquid Freezer 240 has a suggested retail price of 130 euros.

In addition to the CPU coolers Arctic also presents the Accelero Hybrid III-120 graphics cards. This was already available in a larger Hybrid III-140 version. The new model will cost 120 euros.
