Alpine 11 Passive Arctic Alpine 11 Passive can be mounted are on motherboards with socket 1150, 1151, 1155 or 1156. Although the block under Arctic is suitable for CPUs with TDP of 47 watts, users of processors with a TDP must exceed 35 watts keep in mind the clock speed may decrease with prolonged use in systems that are completely fanless.

The bottom of the Alpine 11 is provided with MX-2-thermal paste, so that the block can be mounted directly. Previously brought to the Arctic Alpine M1 for the passive cooling of AMD APUs on AM1 motherboards.
