Microsoft: SkyDrive injured naming rights renaming of Microsoft Drive?

Lawsuits are unfortunately the norm. Some are certainly understandable, some in patent and trademark law does not always. As you know, Microsoft has been using the terminology for their own SkyDrive cloud storage. It has now been decided in England against Microsoft. The British pay-TV company British Sky Broadcasting Group has moved to court and it was ruled that Microsoft infringed the trademark rights of British Sky Broadcasting Group (BSkyB).

Yet the sentence has not been announced, but in the worst case Microsoft would probably umtaufen its services in Europe. Microsoft can of course still go to appeal. Microsoft seems to have at least already preparing for the worst, because the code of Windows 8.1 you can have the Microsoft terminology Drive unlock. This Windows users can understand 8.1 by even change the key fire in registry path HKCU Software Microsoft Windows CurrentVersion SkyDriveOptIn from 0 to 1, because then the PC settings, the range Microsoft Drive is displayed.
