Ashes of the Singularity comes out on March 31




Stardock Entertainment brings Ashes of the Singularity on March 31 off. The RTS game is already available since late last year through Steam Early Access and it is one of the first games that use DirectX 12.

Ashes of the Singularity is created by development studio oxide. The real time strategy -game is built into the Nitrous Engine, which has been in development since 2013. According oxide, it is possible by use of the DX12 API to provide each unit in the game of much more visual details and in order to take place on a large scale battles.

Since October 2015 the game is available in the early access program Steam for 49.99 euros. Who buys the game will soon also the definition version when it launches on 31 March. Oxide says it has listened to feedback from players who already are working with the current version and that the multiplayer has been improved, including by improving the balance between the different units. There are also added several maps.

When version 1.0 comes out of Ashes of the Singularity, will be available an editor that allows players to create their own maps. If the release is approaching the developer will make it more familiar. Further receives the final version of the game campaign mode entitled Ascendancy Wars.
