ASRock Fatal1ty has H170 Gaming K4 Hyper B150 and Fatal1ty Gaming K4 announced Hyper-motherboards. The boards are equipped with a chip that can adjust the processor clock signal, so the weather is possible to clock on non-K Skylake CPUs.

The two plates with H170 B150 Express and Express chipset are ASRocks answer to Intel’s ban on overclocking Skylake processors that do not fall into the K series. Motherboard Manufacturers spent the past few motherboards with overclocking capability for inexpensive Intel chips that do not fall into the K series. With those signs allowed users to the BCLK, or base clock frequency, increase, but Intel put a stop to it with a bios update here.

That blockade bypasses ASRock now with an additional chip. That clock generator, which ASRock calls the name Hyper BCLK Engine, makes the adjustment of the BCLK in increments of 0,0625MHz possible. “This helps overclockers to give more control over their systems”, the manufacturer claims. Incidentally ASRock used this chip, the IDT 6V41542NLG, earlier, for its Z170 ASRock OC Formula, a high-end motherboard, and Extreme models for refining overclocking steps. Also, the increase of the memory clock speeds of one of the possibilities, but only with ‘certain memory, such as strips of Kingston or Samsung “. ASRock calls this capability ‘DDR4 Non-Z OC.

The other specifications of the Hyper-signs are similar to those of ASRocks H170 Fatal1ty Gaming K4- and Fatal1ty Gaming B150 K4 motherboards. They are midrange signs include two PCI-E 3.0 x16 interfaces, six USB 3.0 ports and a Killer E2400 gigabit Ethernet connection. ASRock reports that the two products is not available in all countries. In what is and what is the official recommended prices are not known. The Fatal1ty Gaming B150 K4 Hyper is in German and Austrian webshops found for rates of 120 to 150 euros.
