ASRock presents hdmi router with Mira Cast Support




ASRock has announced an HDMI stick that a television can be pinned to set up a wifi connection in a hotel room for example. In addition, the Mira Cast dongle offers and DLNA support for streaming content to the television.

The electronics manufacturer calls the device the H2R, or the HDMI 2-in-1 router. On the device a RJ45 cable can be connected to set up a Wi-Fi network in a room. With this functionality, ASRock aims primarily at travelers, for example in a hotel room to improve wifi.

H2R ASRock In addition, the H2R can also serve as an Ethernet adapter and as HDMI dongle with Mira Cast of DLNA. With the latter, content can be streamed to the television. ASRock above uses the EZCastĀ® apps from Singapore EZTech which the H2R compatible. There are EZCastĀ® apps for iOS, Android and Windows.

ASRock announces the HDMI stick initially to supply with its G10 gaming router. However, the H2R will, which is as big as a pocket of a jacket, also be supplied separately. When that will happen and at what price is not yet known.
