Assassin’s Creed: Rogue Preview – Enhancement of AC IV: Black Flag
Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag was a very strong game. The game followed the disappointing Assassin’s Creed III, that the series has cost a lot of fans. The tough pirate Edward Kenway spoke much more to the imagination than the Indian and Connor did, with his charm and brutality, occasionally reminiscent of Ezio Auditore da Firenze in its heyday. Yet even Black Flag not what Assassin’s Creed fans wanted to see. The game was good, but showed little in a real Assassin’s Creed game. Purists see the series, after all, preferably in big cities, and not the vast waters of the Caribbean.
Those purists can this autumn fun with Assassin’s Creed: Unity. That game is like now can be assumed known in Paris. The game is from the ground up and developed for the PC and the newer consoles, which also can be seen. The game looks really a blow better than all Assassin’s Creed games that we have seen above. One drawback, however: that game is not for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, and consoles are still many more people at home than the Xbox and the PlayStation 4 One So? So Ubisoft does not make one for this fall, but two Assassin’s Creed games.
Assassin’s Creed: Rogue was announced shortly before the Gamescom, and so is the title only for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. The game is not like Unity, all built up from scratch, but is more an evolution of Black Flag. That is of course not a new phenomenon for Assassin’s Creed. You might be able to see if what Rogue Brotherhood and Revelations were Assassin’s Creed II. Indeed The engine is virtually hetzelde, only there with the same palette a whole new painting.
That ‘painting’ brings a new protagonist with it. The player takes control of Cormac Patrick Shay, a 21-year-old recruit within the Brotherhood of Assassins. Unlike its many predecessors Cormac is not cut from assassin wood. He has an aversion to the methods and motivations of the Assassins, and after a mission seriously wrong at all, he is deceived by the Assassins and put out of order. Then Cormac offers his services to the Templars, as Assassin hunter. Which of course make good use of this opportunity, and so is the prelude formed for Assassin’s Creed: Rogue.Viewing:-175
