Asus comes with successor MeMO Pad 10 tablet




Asus brings a successor to its MeMO Pad 10-tablet last year. The tablet is slightly smaller, but the screen remains the same size. Asus has the Rockchip-soc addition, the tablet last year exchanged for Qualcomm.

The tablet is still called MeMO Pad 10, but now has the model number ME13K and still has a 10.1 “-ips-LCD with a resolution of 1280×800 pixels. Inside, something has changed. Asus has Rockchip RK101-soc exchanged a Qualcomm S4 Pro processor with four cores at 1.5GHz, assisted by a memory the size of 1GB.

Asus claims a battery life of ten hours with a 5070mAh battery in the device. The Android tablet has 16GB onboard storage with the option to extend it through a micro-SD card up to 64GB. The tablet is 25,6×17,4cm large and 9,9mm thick, which he is slightly thinner than its predecessor.

The tablet comes in November in the Netherlands and will cost 199 euros at release, like its predecessor. That is now on sale for around 170 euros.
