Asus has decided to shut down its production line for tablets operating system Windows RT, due to lack of demand for operating this system.

“Jerry Chin” CEO “ASUS” that his company made the decision after proven Windows RT as a “failed experiment”.

Windows RT system is a modified version of Windows 8, but custom work on tablets with the British company ARM processors.

The Executive Director of the company “ASUS” in remarks highlighted by the Wall Street Journal that his company will produce tablets operating system “Windows 8″ based on Intel processors.

“Jerry’s remarks came after Chen announced Microsoft that it lost nearly $ 900 million because of Surface computer tablet based on RT, RT for Windows system not achieved sales ahead.

The ASUS launched Tablet Windows RT, VivoTab RT computer which is not achieved expected sales, forcing the company to halt production in Taiwan.
