Asus has announced the world’s first smartphone with 4 GB of RAM
Asus has unveiled at CES 2015 flagship smartphone Asus ZenFone 2, built on the Intel Atom Z3580 processor with a clock speed of 2.3 GHz and has a record for the industry of RAM 4 GB. The device runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop.
ZenFone 2 received a 5.5-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of TruVivid Full HD (403 ppi) and covered with glass Gorilla Glass 3. According to Asus, the screen has a thin side frames and covers 72% of the front panel. Its color and viewing angles are said to be better than the competition.
In Zenfone 2 uses a 13-megapixel camera with an aperture of f / 2.0, dual LED flash and technology PixelMaster, boosting the quality of the photos in low light conditions. The company promises night shots of up to 400% brighter without using the flash. According to the manufacturer, the camera shoots better than the iPhone 6 Plus, Samsung Galaxy Note 4 and other high-end devices. The front camera has a resolution of 5 megapixels.
The device will be offered in several versions with different volume of RAM and internal memory, including a model with 4 GB of RAM. The device supports simultaneous operation of two SIM-cards. The amount of memory for data storage ranges 16 – 64 GB, moreover, supported and work with microSD cards up to 64 GB. The product is equipped with a module LTE Cat 4 and battery 3000 mAh.
Sales of new items, dressed in black, gray, white, red and gold case, will begin in March this year at a price of $ 199, depending on configuration.
