Asus is working on RoG Mars card with two Nvidia GTX 760 GPUs

There are images appeared of a new card in the Asus Republic of Gamers Mars series. It would be a card with two-GK104 GPUs, which formed the basis of a single copy of the GTX 760.

Asus itself placed late last week a teaser on its RoG-site titled “A tale of two heat sinks’ and a corresponding image. The German site Hardwareluxx followed with an image of a pcb with gpu, PLX-bridge and 12-phase VRM, and a picture of the complete map published . According to the site, the map faster than any single-GPU card whatsoever, but benchmarks to substantiate that claim has not the site. The big question is whether the card faster and quieter than competing dual-GPU cards like the Nvidia GeForce GTX 690 and AMD Radeon HD 7990.

The Asus RoG Mars 760 has two GK104-425 chips and thus a total of 2304 cudacores. The two GPUs are connected via a PLX PEX8747 chip, and the DirectCU II cooling with two fans and two heatsinks to keep the card on temperature. The side of the card contains the Mars logo, that light can give. Asus would make the map publicly Tuesday, but the price is still unknown. Incidentally, there are also rumors about a new AMD card with two GPUs Hawaii, the Radeon HD 7990 should follow.
