Asus MG279Q monitor appears to have Free Sync support




The support at CES announced Asus MG279Q monitor with 27 “screen and a resolution of 2560×1440 pixels joined Tuesday joined the list of monitors that AMD’s Free Sync technology. This allows AMD to know through a tweet.

The tweet ofAMDGaming welcomes the monitor with an attached product photo where the logo AMD Free Sync adorns. Free Sync, AMD’s alternative to G-Sync Nvidia should avoid interruptions in audio in games. Asus already supported G-Sync on some monitors.

The monitor made during an earlier presentation at CES using DisplayPort 1.2a with Adaptive-Sync Free Sync support but then was not explicitly reported. Monitor was also when a refresh rate of 120Hz, writes PC Perspective. The maximum refresh rate of the image according to the new marketing image 144Hz, presented through an IPS panel. Possibly, there is a hardware change.
