Asus shows 24 “monitor with 180Hz panel and thin screen edges

Asus presents a new 24 “monitor in his ROG Swift series for gamers. The PG248Q has a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels, response time of 1ms, 180Hz refresh rate and support for Nvidia’s G-Sync technology.

Asus ROG Swift PG248Q Although Asus not know what type of panel calls using the screen, it is likely that it is a TN panel because of the low response time. Asus announced the screen during its ROG event at the Computex trade show in. According to the manufacturer, the panel has an overclockable refresh rate of 180Hz. It is still not clear whether that speed is about clocks, or the guaranteed speed of the panel.

The screen is equipped with a G-Sync module, which works in conjunction with Nvidia graphics cards. The monitor also features the Asus Game Plus mode, which crosshairs, timers and counters fps can be displayed on the screen through items in the on screen display. The housing has a relatively thin screen edges, which should make it suitable for screen setups of multiple monitors.

Asus has not announced retail price yet. it is not yet clear if the ROG Swift PQ248 monitor in the market.
