Asus shows all-in-ones with agile hardware

Asus has given to the eve of Computex his traditional press conference before a home crowd. The first product in the new line-up of the Taiwanese company is an all-in-one next-gen hardware.

The Asus Zen AiO comes in two variants, the Z220IC and Z240IC, still unnamed exact specifications. It is still unclear exactly which processors are on board, but Asus CEO Johnny Shih showed specifications ddr4-2133 memory. That makes it likely that the Core i7 processor that was mentioned dates from the upcoming crop Skylake processors. A processor from the already available Haswell E-series seems to apply in an AiO less plausible given the higher TDP.

Asus Zen Z240IC Zen All-in-ones come with up to 32GB DDR4 memory and a mobile GeForce GTX 960m graphics card. The storage is provided by a 3.0-PCIe SSD with Pattern 2 x4 connector, which could fetch up to 4000MB / s read speed. Peripherals can with the brand new USB 3.1 type C connector with reversible plugs are connected. The interaction, in addition to traditional interfaces like mouse and keyboard, through gestures with Intel Real Sense camera or via voice control with Microsoft Cortana expired.

Prices and availability are not yet known, but the Zen AiOs indeed get Skylake processors, will take some months to be waiting there.
