Asus shows first tablet with Intel Rockchip-soc
The zenPad S 8.0 from Asus is the first manufacturer with a tablet that soc resulting from the collaboration between Intel and Rockchip. A more expensive version of the tablet has a USB port c. Earlier, Finland’s Nokia came with a tablet that has a USB-c connection.

Besides the zenPad S 8.0 Asus comes with a cheaper version, the zenPad 8.0. This is an x3-C3230RK soc Intel and Rockchip, making it the first tablet that uses a soc resulting from the collaboration between Intel and Rockchip, says Anandtech. The four Silver Mont cores running at up to 1.2GHz, while Mali450MP4 GPU graphic work takes on.
The zenPad 8.0 has a 1280×800 screen with a 15: 9 aspect ratio. Therefore it is longer and narrower than the S 8.0 with 20,9×12,3cm and a thickness of 8.5mm.
