Asus Transformer Book gives T100 processor upgrade




Asus has announced new versions of its popular Transformer Book. The models get a faster quad-Bay Trail and next to the black version brings Asus white variant of the market in the Benelux.

The current versions of the Transformer Book T100 have an Intel Atom Z3740-quad, with default clock speed of 1.33 GHz and maximum clock speed of 1.86 GHz. Asus shows the current line, however, an upgrade to the Atom Z3775. This quad has a base clock speed of 1.46 GHz, with burst frequency of 2.39 GHz. In addition there will be in addition to the current black models a white variant.

The other specifications remain the same. The 10.1 “screen displays 1366×768 pixels, there is 2GB memory and storage capacity is expandable via SD memory card slot. 32GB or 64GB, There is also support for WiFi n and Bluetooth and a USB 2.0 port on the tablet part and a USB 3.0 port on the keyboard part.
