When Asus Transformer end 2013 released the T100, touchscreens were mostly reserved for ultrabooks and convertibles of a euro or a thousand. Asus changed all the T100 of the then new Bay Trail Atom processor to provide and combine the system with Office 2013 for only 350 euros.

More than six months ago, during the Computex 2015, we came the successor to the T100 against, with an updated design, Intel’s new Atom processor and USB c. Meanwhile T100HA is actually for sale and see if we can get just as impressed with this new iteration of the successful T100.
Appearance

Asus T100HA colors Our T100HA is pink, “rouge pink ‘the Asus, but calls for those who can not appreciate the convertible also comes in less conspicuous white and dark gray.

However, the colors are not the main modification to the outside of the T100-tablet; which is the material used. The T100HA-casing is no longer plastic but made of aluminum, making the tablet just what firmer. Also new are the camera with a resolution of five megapixels, and the loudspeakers directed backwards.

The connectors of the tablets are placed on the right side, but Asus could not avoid to insert a USB c connector to the left. Recharging is via the micro-USB-B connector at the other end, so even if the tablet hangs on the charger, the USB-C jack is simply to use.

The right side is equipped with a micro sd card reader, a micro HDMI connection, and below the socket for the charger, and a 3.5mm jack for external audio. Who wants to join a “normal” USB device can use the USB 2.0 connector on the dock. Do you want more speed, then you’ll have to turn to the USB c connector, which supports a maximum speed of 5Gbit / s. That is as yet impractical, because there are not many devices equipped with USB c. Moreover, the first T100 did have a full USB 3.0 connection integrated into the dock.
Keyboard Dock

On the keyboard dock first generation T100 we had a lot of criticism. The hinge where it leaned entirely in open position on the murder was too narrow. Therefore the wobbled keyboard easily back and forth while typing and also rebounded too easy.

This last point has changed little; it still takes little effort to get along the keyboard on the size of your attack ‘waves’. In addition, it is to get used to the smaller dabs, of the compact 10,1 which are the result “-formfactor. Asus Fortunately, the hinge being addressed. As with the T100 Chi is a wider hinge used and hold the magnets on its tablet place, so you need to use a separate button if you want to remove the tablet from the dock.

The touchpad finally supports all the gestures that are built into Windows 10. The compact size of the touchpad is not always easy to make those sweeping motions, because you are soon at the edge. The corresponding animations not always run smoothly, especially when there are many software runs in the background, but scrolling and swiping are becoming increasingly recognized by the touchpad.
