Asus VivoWatch – fitness-oriented smart clock with battery life up to 10 days




The first “smart” watch company Asus, ZenWatch were fairly standard for this class of devices: a platform Android Wear, square display and battery life of 1-2 days, depending on the activity use. In the near future will be released the second model, called Asus hours VivoWatch, which will be significantly different. The clock will be dust waterproof standard iP67 stainless steel and will focus primarily on the fitness function.

VivoWatch will be equipped with all the necessary sensors, including heart rate sensor and will have all common for this class of device functions, starting with the calculation of the distance traveled and calories burned and finishing phases of sleep. More interesting is that (according to the manufacturer) clock can operate from a single battery charge up to 10 days. Instead Android Wear will be used proprietary OS. The screen will be black and white, under which placed colored LED-indicator. When and at what price VivoWatch will be on sale yet unknown. And they can be seen live on the Milan Design Week, which began today.
