ASUS ZenBook 3 lands in Germany




Already announced in the summer, the ZenBook 3 from ASUS makes the trade in Germany now somewhat wider the waiting. The ZenBook 3 was completely redesigned according to ASUS, has a smooth 11.9 millimeter thin chassis and weighs 910 grams. In order to achieve its lightness, the ZenBook 3 according to ASUS is made of an aluminum alloy, which is used in the aerospace industry. The ZenBook 3 is available in three: Royal Blue, Rose Gold, and Quartz Gray.

The ZenBook 3 comes in various editions, including the seventh generation of Intel Core i7 processors, up to 16 GB of 2133MHz RAM, a 1 TB PCIe 3.0 x4 SSD, a USB Type C port and a quad- Speaker Audiosystem by Harman Kardon.Wer it may be a bit smaller, finds also devices with the Core i5-7200U. ASUS is based on a 12.5 inch display, which offers a 72 percent NTSC color scale.


The display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 4. The ASUS ZenBook 3 offers a quite large keyboard with background lighting, 19.8 millimeter key spacing – like most desktop keyboards – and a 0.8mm key stroke. Not bad for a 12.5 inch device.

An integrated fingerprint reader with Windows Hello Support supports one-touch access. The notebook is supposed to provide up to 9 hours of battery life, with Fast Charge you get in 49 minutes to 60 percent of the capacity.

The small version is going according ASUS from 1,499 euros. For this one gets the small i5 model with 8 GB RAM and 512s SSD, which is then also “only” connected by SATA.

Anyone who has the new MacBook grimaced because of the connections, it may also here – a reversible USB C-Port is on board. Thumbs up there is nevertheless for ASUS, which attach a mini Dock, the HDMI, USB 3.0 A and USB 3.1 C from the one port conjures.
