Athom begins with deliver Homey-controller
Athom the first copies of his voice automation assistant Homey sent to backers. The Homey took tweaker WeeJeWel over 200,000 euros and then gave investors another million for further development.
The Homey goes to 996 backers of the Kickstarter project, but also people who have not supported the campaign now order the automation assistant. Athom first supplies Super- and First Batch supporters, according to a Facebook message. Followed by other backers, and the company’s other pre-orders will extradite. The Kickstarter campaign took place in the spring of 2014.
Athom began production in November. Production starts later than the company had initially planned, because recent testing showed that infrared range was much shorter than in previous measurements. That would have been resolved. Athom continues to work on a new website, updates, apps and API documentation for developers.
