Audi is investing in Samsung’s Exynos for its in-car infotainment

Samsung is now participating in the Progressive SemiConductor Program (PSCP) of the German car maker Audi. Sounds first for private customers not so spectacular, but means in the plain text that Audi and Samsung are even closer partners. Samsung will provide the SoCs for Audi’s in-vehicle infotainment systems. In the future, Samsung’s Exynos chips are not just in the Galaxy-S smartphones, but also Audi’s cars. According to Audis head of infotainment development, Alfons Pfaller, the new cooperation with Samsung will help to raise Audis in-car infotainment to the next level.
