Boating , a UAE- based high- performance boat manufacturer of fiberglass and motorless boats , has announced the launch of its latest showboat . The B7X, which can be used in manned and unmanned marine operations , is the first non- driver dual- use boat produced for commercial purposes in the world .

The B7x and other models produced by the UAE’s ” Boat Company ” are manufactured, assembled and tested . The B7X is equipped with a sophisticated self- control system to assist the Navy in the country, where it can be used in a wide range of defense and civilian purposes , including ship movement control, law enforcement , automated commercial transport , search and rescue and surveillance .

The new model also features Map Pro technology developed by MAP Marine Technologies , a leading local company in the field of driverless driving technology . This technology turns ordinary manned boats into unmanned boats , allowing the boat to be driven as a regular boat or operated and remotely controlled through a ground control station . The B7X can carry out the tasks independently, and has a collision- aware alarm system using radar , AIS and EO / IR sensors . The boat can also be monitored and controlled from around the world through the global MAP network and can operate for 48 hours continuously before refueling .

The B7X is 8.2 meters long and 2.2 meters wide . Its net weight is 3,000 kg and contains a 450 liter fuel tank , with a top speed of 50 knots at 450 nautical miles per 15 knots .
