Baldur’s Gate: Enhanced Edition came out on the iPhone




Game Baldur’s Gate: Enhanced Edition from the studio Beamdog started on the iPhone. The updated and expanded edition debuted on the iPad at the end of 2012. And now the game has been available on smartphones from Apple.


Baldur’s Gate Enhanced Edition has been significantly revised. Just a game made more than 400 different changes, among which marked a convenient interface, cross-platform multiplayer and support for large and non-standard screen resolutions. There have also been completely redrawn 2D-saver with the new animation.

However, the developers were forced to postpone the release of the project due to an error that has crept in to the mobile version of Baldur’s Gate Enhanced Edition. On the release date on the PC is not affected, but the debut on the iPad, and Mac had to be postponed. With the 1.3 update the game received support iPhone and Russian localization.



Baldur’s Gate Enhanced Edition will delight fans of The Black Pits location for six hours of gameplay, three new characters and an additional set of the characters’ voices. On the iPhone and iPad new portraits and character voices, as two of the three additional gaming companions, have to buy through the in-game store. Release version is not limited to the content, the developers plan to maintain and update the game.

The original version of Baldur’s Gate, designed by the studio BioWare, released in November 1998. Its sequel, Baldur’s Gate II: Shadows of Amn, went on sale two years later.
