Find a Question:
Banks will allow logging to shops and public service
It will soon be possible to log on to various online services via the login method of the bank. Initially, it is a test to the Tax and not specifically named insurance.
The service for online identification in cooperation with the Netherlands Payments Association established. It states that virtually all banks operating in the Netherlands, connected. Initially can be logged in at the Tax Administration with the method by 65 000 customers of ABN Amro, ING, Rabobank, SNS and Triodos, says the Tax Office. The pilot starts on March 1, 2016, making this group do when digital tax return, though it can choose to log in via DigiD or through the bank.
One of the advantages is that people who live abroad and therefore do not have DigiD can still login. It is also useful if one of the two logon methods does not work, such as by an expired DigiD, still more can be logged through the bank, for example, the website of the Tax Administration.
In addition to logging in each bank, the tax authorities will also take part in a pilot project with Idensys, a new standard of government and industry for online identification. This is also carried out a pilot project, separate from this pilot with the banks. Tweakers wrote there earlier this month.
In the system where customers log on to other services through the bank, data exchange, allowing the bank does not have access to data for example filled with the tax authorities. The information to other bodies provided by the bank, can be determined by the customer, allowing control over the data to the customer remains.Viewing:-97
