Base comes with its own cloud storage service
The Belgian telecom company has quietly opened the doors of its own cloud storage service for the consumer. Cloud base offers subscribers 1GB free storage. Fee may be repurchased more space. There will also be a mobile Android app.
Tweaker Endus able to report that the storage on Cloud Base can be expanded to 32GB for 1.50 euros per month. Who month 9 euros resigns get 200GB of cloud storage. Base subscribers can activate the free storage space and the paid packages through various SMS codes to the mobile provider. The subscription fee will be deducted from the monthly bill. The new cloud storage service for individuals follows the opening of Base Business Cloud.
Base is also working on an Android app for its storage service. A test version is currently in beta available . The app must be installed on side-loading and is not yet available in the Google Play Store. The app provides among other things automatic synchronization of images, videos, contacts and SMS messages.
