Batman game from Telltale coming this summer

The Batman game development studio Telltale Games will be released this summer. The game will focus both on the life of Bruce Wayne by day as that of Batman at night. The two parts will also influence each other.

Developer Telltale Games makes the news announced in a blog post , which again is a summary of a panel at SXSW, the fair on Sunday ends. About Telltale-Batman Game is it since the original announcement was a long silence. Now that the writers and developers are further in the development process, the studio acts out with details.

Besides the fact that the decisions of Wayne and Batman influence their respective worlds of experience, players can even choose whether they want to tackle certain situations like Wayne or Batman. Examples of these situations will give the developer does not yet.

Furthermore, the American studio claims that it is a new interpretation of the Batman story that is not related to existing movies, series or comic books. Also, members of what Telltale describes as the ‘extended Bat-family’, characters like Robin and Nightwing, make no appearance in this game. More important characters like James Gordon and Alfred Pennyworth will still be of the party. Finally, Telltale says that the engine will be updated and the game will have a very adult tone.

Telltale Games is known for its episodic point and click adventure-style games that much emphasis on the story and try players as much influence to give the course of that story. The developer has already made games such franchises as The Walking Dead, Game of Thrones, Minecraft and Back to the Future. On which platforms will come from the Batman game, is not yet known. Other games from the studio released on Android, iOS, Windows, OS X, PlayStation 3, 4 and Vita and Xbox 360 and One.
