Battle Born Review – Less can
Battle Born is a game where we have mixed feelings about it. Heroes are good, varied and funny. Similarly, the Heroes opwaardeermogelijkheden are fine. But that does not make good game. Thus, the game suffers from a lack of content. The campaign is short and has a mediocre story that gets lost in the hectic pace of the action. In particular, the campaign suffers from a surfeit of explosions and other graphical effects. But that can not hide the fact that the action in the eight maps quickly tiring. In multiplayer suffers from little maps and little variation in the games. In addition, multiplayer top-heavy by the abundance of ingredients. The turrets are fine, but it is unnecessarily complicated with loadouts and a progression system outside the matches to. Battle Born is clearly a game where with a lot of enthusiasm has worked on all the right breaks the game on. It is a game where just too many ideas have been put in, but just enough content.
Turrets as an added value
Loadouts too much of a good thing

Randy Pitchford is one of the founders of Gearbox Software and since the beginning director and spokesman for the Texas studio. Pitchford is a real American; enthusiastic, loud and confident of themselves. He always seems bored and he is full of ideas. That is reflected in the CVs of the studio, which includes diverse games like Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3, Samba de Amigo and Aliens: Colonial Marines. In recent years, however, the studio best known for a series that is completely out own sleeve: Borderlands. Anyone who knows the history of the studio and the personality of the director a little, suddenly sees that the new Battle Born fits in that list.
Battle Born is a lot of Borderlands back, but then rigged with an abundance of big and little extras that make the whole is not always consistent. So much so that snowed under strengths Borderlands Battle Born. Because what makes Borderlands so entertaining? The wacky story and especially the funny dialogues and one-liners. Battle Born is a story and you get the same dialogues and one-liners against. However, both snow completely in the abundance of action and graphic violence.
This is mainly due to the set-up that Gearbox has chosen the game. Battle Born is the first in the series Moba-shooters that is in the pipeline. There follow. Blizzards Overwatch appear later this month and we got a couple of weeks ago a foretaste of lawbreakers, the new game from Cliff Bleszinski and Arjan Brussee. All games with a similar design; they are games that are played from shooter perspective, with teams of five players. Games also where players can choose from a variety of Heroes which they can enter the battlefield. Hence the comparison with the so popular Moba games.Viewing:-86
