Battletech-Kickstarter achieves all his goals




The Kickstarter for strategy game Battletech, the game in the same universe as MechWarrior, has already reached its stretch goals. With 2.5 million dollars which has raised harebrained schemes, the studio is both a single- and make a multiplayer game.

The last stretch goal, pvp -multiplayer has harebrained achieved with 32 hours in the campaign to go. When you combine the Kickstarter revenues and PayPal revenue, the total exceeds 2.5 million dollars. The game is a turn-based strategy game in the Battletech universe, known for games like MechWarrior, MechCommander and MechAssault. For the game itself with only a skirmish mode harebrained schemes had the money itself already in house. The stretch goals were intended for expansion of the skirmish mode and an extensive single-player campaign, an additional mercenary campaign and said PvP multiplayer.

Jordan Weisman, founder of harebrained schemes, is the head of the development of the game. He has previously worked on games from the Battletech universe, but also as the Crimson Skies- and Shadowrun franchises. Weisman has to get the rights for Battletech Microsoft know. His studio has been responsible for games like Golem Arcana, Shadowrun Shadowrun Returns and Hong Kong. Harebrained schemes BattleTech expected in early 2017 to deliver for Windows, Mac and Linux.
