Beamdog game announces that gap between Baldur’s Gate I and II must bridge




The publisher Beamdog has confirmed that a new Baldur’s Gate game is under development. It is not a continuation of the previously published titles in the series, but the game does is set between the events of the original game and Baldur’s Gate 2: Shadows of Amn.

Beamdog Beamdog says in the spring with more information about the new title to come. This relates to information about the content that contain the game goes and a release date. The name of the new game is not yet published. Beamdog speaks Adventure Y, but that’s probably a code name.

The new game in their own words the gap between Baldur’s Gate: Enhanced Edition and Baldur’s Gate II: Enhanced Edition fill. Those games are remakes of the first two Baldur’s Gate games that have appeared in 1998 and 2000. The reissues include the expansion packs that have appeared. The new game runs on the Infinity engine that has been previously used.

In addition, there is already another game in the schedule. At the end of the summer Beamdog there is more information about this. The company currently only confirms the existence of that title. The game has a connection with content that they have worked on in the past. In any case, there is no real work done on titles like Dungeons & Dragons 5 or Baldur’s Gate 3, reports Beamdog.
