Belgacom customers call less with fixed line

Belgacom customers call less the landline phone. This is evident from the quarterly figures of the company. Apparently addressing customers increasingly mobile, because the number of minutes that customers thereby increasing calls though.

Where a client via landline recent months on average per month, 1 hour and 41 minutes calls, is that with the mobile phone a little over two hours, according to calculations Tweakers conducted on the basis of the Friday Belgacom published quarterly . In early 2013 the situation was completely reversed and called customers just via the landline.

The trend is notable because fixed telephone subscriptions in many part of the time “free” is, then users are not counting down every minute. With mobile subscriptions Proximus is only unlimited calling in more expensive subscriptions.

Belgacom granted financially a good second quarter. The number of customers for TV, internet and mobile telephony grew. The company earned more than 1.5 billion, gross profit and EBITDA amounted to slightly less than 500 million.
