Belgian cable company VOO announces 400Mbit / s-abos




The Walloon provider of cable services VOO announces the maximum downward speed that customers can purchase at the end of this year to increase to 400Mbit / s. Details about the subscriptions does not yet give the company.

All customers will soon be able to purchase subscriptions at higher speeds, VOO promises . Users of a Technicolor modem can receive the full 400Mbit / s as a theoretical maximum, with the Netgear modem that maximum is 360Mbit / s.

VOO starts offering the new subscriptions in December and makes them available in phases. Details about the offer do not yet provide the cable operator. The company reports ‘the final touches to the details’.

VOO is active throughout Wallonia, in a number of the municipalities of the Brussels Region and Flemish Voeren. Since the end of last year , Telenet has been offering customers with an Internet Fiber 200 subscription to increase the speed to 400Mbit / s.
