Belgians buy something less tablets

Belgians in the past few months less tablets to buy. The number of tablets sold fell in the spring by two percent compared to the same period last year, according to figures from market research company GfK, the sales tracking.

This is the first time that the number of tablets sold in Belgium decreased since the first tablets with iOS and Android came out. Due to the decline, the number of tablets sold in the second quarter in Belgium on 285 000; the number of laptops sold 560,000 came with almost twice as high off, writes Datanews.

The trend in Belgium is no exception; in the Netherlands, the reduction even harder, noted GfK. That decline would come across in 2014 at 11 percent, but in recent months there were even periods when sales shrank by a quarter compared to the same period last year.

The decline in sales is seen worldwide; Apple sold fewer iPads in the past six months compared to the same period in 2013 and Samsung also noted though that the demand for tablets is declining, although many more models on the market in the first half of 2014.

Sales of laptops where they do not seem to benefit in Belgium. Belgians bought in the past three months there also 1.7 percent less than the same period last year.
