Bethesda announces first three DLC packages for Fallout 4 on

Bethesda has announced details and prices of Automatron, Wasteland Workshop and Far Harbour. The DLC packages for Fallout 4 will appear respectively in March, April and May. Later there are several extensions, the price of the season pass, therefore, goes up.

In March brings Bethesda first DLC package with additional content for Fallout 4 off. The DLC will be called Automatron and will cost 9.99 euros. In the expansion, the mysterious Mechanist “unleashed a horde of evil robots in the Commonwealth. It is up to the player to chase the robots. With the parts of the demolished robots, players can then create their own custom self robotcompanions. According to Bethesda, there are hundreds of mods available and limbs, armor and abilities of the robots be adjusted as desired. The update also brings new weapons, including a chain lightning gun.

Subsequently released in April Wasteland Workshop-dlc for 4.99 euros. This package adds the ability to place cages in the wasteland, where living creatures can be caught with it. “From raiders to Deathclaws’ says Bethesda. Caught creatures can then be tamed, so they put in fights. Further, the DLC new objects that can be used for building settlements. Whether the DLC also adds is unknown missions.

In May, Far Harbour, the largest DLC at a price of 24.99 euros. This extension adds a new case to the detective bureau Valentine. In case the player has to look for a young woman and a hidden colony of synths. The DLC brings players into a new area: the island of Far Harbour, where high radiation levels determine the landscape and population. According to Bethesda, the DLC contains the largest “land mass” that the studio has ever added in the download package. Far Harbour adds several new faction quests, settlements, creatures and dungeons far.

Bethesda stressed that these are the first three packages and that will follow more dlc content. That is why the studio decided the season pass, which now has a suggested retail price of 29.99 euros, making more expensive. After March 1 takes these “free ticket” for all DLC’s 49.99 euros. Who has already purchased the season pass, or does that for March, will also get all the content will still follow the first three DLC that have been announced today.

Both on consoles and on the PC will perform Bethesda closed beta testing with the dlc’s, before they are marketed. Those interested can register at Bethesda.net. The participants for the beta will be selected in the coming weeks. Beta testers get early access to the full expansion and need the DLC’s later not to buy more.

Further, Bethesda announced that Fallout 4 studio continues to provide updates and separate from the DLC’s will also add new features. Earlier studio was already known that the survival mode, the shovel, which is now confirmed. Bethesda also currently testing the Creation Kit, which allows players to create mods for the game. When this kit comes is not known yet, but the studio says will soon give more details.
