Bethesda confirms Fallout 76 players to go into ‘developer space’
Bethesda said that it temporarily suspends the accounts of Fallout 76 players at the moment they have gained access to the ‘developer space’. This space was recently discovered and contains, for example, unreleased items.

Bethesda has issued a statement to Eurogamer in which it states to investigate which player accounts have acquired items ‘by gaining access to spaces not intended for the public’. According to the studio, these rooms, which refer to the development space, are only accessible to PC players who use ‘third-party applications’. Bethesda indicates that this is not permitted.

The accounts of players who have entered the forbidden space are faced with a temporary suspension. Whether and when these suspensions are lifted again is not clear. Bethesda says that the question of what to do with these accounts is part of the research. The developer calls on players who have entered the prohibited areas to report to the support team at Bethesda.

More than a week ago it became clear that some players of Fallout 76 were able to enter areas where, for example, there are unreleased things , but also human npc called Wobby. In Fallout 76 there are as yet no human npc’s. Some items appeared later on eBay or were transferred to other accounts.

It has been discussed before about alleged bans that Bethesa would have distributed in a reaction, something the company now confirms. The studio does not say whether it has succeeded in permanently shielding the development space from players.
