Fallout 4 and The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim definitely get no mod support on the PlayStation 4. Publisher Bethesda cease its attempts to do so after Sony has indicated support not allowing in the manner proposed.

Bethesda announces months with Sony to have sat on the table mod support and ready to have stood to enter it. “Sony has informed us that they will not allow user-mods on the way it should work: where users can do everything for Fallout 4 as Skyrim Special Edition”, says Bethesda. The publisher has announced to hope that it may find other ways to make mods available for PlayStation users, but the content is not available while Sony is transverse.

Bethesda announced early this year that the PS4 version of Fallout 4 would get in June support for mods, but the end of that month the company announced that delays were incurred. Furthermore, the initiative never got over a closed beta test. In late May got Fallout 4 players on Xbox One access to mods and April appeared already on the PC. That Skyrim mod support would get was announced in mid-June with the announcement of the Special Edition of the game.
