BitTorrent sync appeared in a first version for Android

BitTorrent Inc has a first alpha version of its synchronization tools today for Android released. For BitTorrent Sync is a synchronization tool, which can be had for Linux, Windows and OS X. It takes advantage of the non-cloud, but your own disk space and synchronization via P2P. The data is highly encrypted, so you should be able to safely use the Distributed Technology.


The Android app makes sure that their files or folders with a smartphone can keep in sync. The alpha version of the APK BitTorrent Sync for Android, I saved this for you . In the settings you can specify whether you want to synchronize using radio signals, also can be a limitation of the synchronization set up when a certain battery level is reached.

What is important to note once I copied from the newsletter:
Requirements: Android version 2.2 and higher.
Please note that BitTorrent Sync for Mobile is compatible with BitTorrent Sync for desktop 1.1.15 and higher (you can download it at ).
Known issues:

The mobile application is currently unable to sync files larger than 2GB.
The Camera Backup folder may sync changes made in the CORRESPONDING folder on your computer.
The mobile application duplicates sync all subfolders in the “On Device” tab even if nothing is downloaded.
When downloading a large file, the speed might start out slow (DEPENDING on the write speed of your storage device / SD card).
The UI might be displayed Incorrectly on some devices.
