Battle royale mode CoD:
Developer Treyarch gives the Blackout mode of Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 on the PC a frameratelimiet of 120fps when the game comes out. During the beta, that was 90fps. Later the limit is increased to 144fps and eventually the limit has to disappear.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 is released on October 12 and Treyarch gives details about the PC version on Reddit . During the beta, the Blackout mode had a frame rate limit of 90fps, according to their own statements, to monitor the performance and stability of the servers.

The framerate, according to the developer, affects the load of the servers and even if the game comes out, there will still be a limit. Initially that is 120fps and ‘once the servers are stable’, that becomes 144fps, says Treyarch.

If everything runs smoothly, the developer expects that all limits can be removed within a few days. The regular multiplayer mode and the zombie mode do not have a frame rate limit.
