Recent reports suggested that BlackBerry has pushed its own operating system sidetracked. BlackBerry CEO John Chen shows now in a blog post that this year with releases 10.3.3 and 10.3.4, two new versions of the system are planned.

Blackberry Chen says that the company does not intend to long-term users of BlackBerry 10 simply be left out in the cold. The system is, in his words, “far from dead. Previously were messages out there for this year only Android phones will be released, which could sound very hopeful for BlackBerry 10 users.

In addition to the plans for the operating system would also have another Android phone on the schedule. That leaves Chen, however, no further details on release. The new versions of BlackBerry 10 are focused on security, the director informs further. Thus release 10.3.3 to the high security requirements of NIAP certification requirements. The subsequent version would ‘further security enhancements’ entail.
