BlackBerry drag Typo keyboard maker for iPhone back to court




BlackBerry would again like to drag the creator of the Typo keyboard case for the iPhone to justice. The Canadian smartphone manufacturer claims reportedly the keyboard until it is copied to the smallest detail.

That requires at least to The Hollywood Reporter. That US media company itself admits, on the charge of BlackBerry. It states that the Canadian smartphone maker again knives grinds to a legal dispute.

It’s not the first time that BlackBerry and the creator of the Typo keyboard case with each other in the clinch lie. Last year won the electronics company a case brought by it, because the first version of the iPhone case infringing technology and its design of BlackBerry. Typo could then no longer sell his keyboard.

Typo then came up with a customized model. This design is for the iPhone 6 and would not infringe on patents, the company claims. BlackBerry thinks otherwise. In the indictment it writes that the Typo 2 keyboard ‘blatantly copying iconic BlackBerry keyboard design. These would be for keyboard like that of the outdated BlackBerry 8800 and the current Q10 and Classic.
