BlackBerry sells its German research department at Volkswagen. All 200 employees will transfer to the new owner. The department in Bochum is going to make software for entertainment Volkswagen cars.

Both companies do not know what Volkswagen will pay for the acquisition, writes Phys.org. The research department will join Volkswagen Infotainment, which is responsible for the software of entertainment in cars.
