BlackBerry shows details Android device Neon on its own website – Update

BlackBerry has ephemeral images and specifications of a new Android smartphone displayed on its site. From this it can be seen that the model named Neon and type DTEK50 similarities with Alcatel Idol 4.

BlackBerry has taken down the site of the DTEK50 but the Google cache is still to this finding and users of CrackBerry managed to advance the images download . The brief appearance of the site indicates an imminent launch.

In the BlackBerry Neon was previously referred to as ‘Hamburg’ but now bears the name DTEK50. The device has a 5.2 “screen with a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels. The SOC is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 617, which is combined with 3GB of RAM and 16GB of storage memory, expandable via an SD memory card.

The camera is a 13 megapixel model with dual LED flash, while the front camera is an 8-megapixel version. The phone has a 2610mAh battery and a white LED for notifications. Furthermore, the model runs Android 6.0 with BlackBerry’s own software.

The device is very similar to the Alcatel Idol 4 and BlackBerry seems to make the device whatsoever by TCL. The Idol 4 represents around 265 euros in the Pricewatch. When the BlackBerry device is officially announcing exactly is not known and whether a second Android smartphone codenamed Rome, where rumors were, appears, is also unclear.
