Blendle begin beta testing in the United States with ten thousand users




The Dutch blendle web service, which allows users to settle separate newspaper and magazine articles, has begun a beta test in the United States. Several major US publishers have joined the service.

In a message to the ten thousand American beta testers writes Alexander Klöpping, founder of blendle that Time Inc., The Financial Times, New York Magazine, Newsweek, Bloomberg Business Week, New York Review of Books “and many others” have joined. Articles from these publications are read only for users of the trail in the United States.

Earlier, The New York Times, The Washington Post and The Wall Street Journal already joined blendle, articles of newspapers are also available in Europe. Late last year the service known to want to start in the US to offer individual articles from newspapers and magazines. Those interested could register and the first 10,000 registrations may now participate in the test. The US blendle website to see still more than 18,000 others are in the virtual queue.

Blendle since the summer of 2014 active in the Netherlands and started in Germany in September 2015. The company says it has 650,000 registered users.
