Blendle has more than one million readers

Online newspaper and magazine kiosk blendle has passed the milestone of one million readers. Blendle reached the milestone two years, three months and five days after it opened its virtual doors in April 2014.

Additionally blendle announces a service that will offer it in the near future: Premium Feed. The service allows users to set the option very specific areas of interest to select items. The feeds are not created by man, but by self-developed algorithms, writes cofounder Alexander Klöpping Medium. The makers hope to achieve the algorithm called “filter bubble is broken and not just stories dished readers that fit into their street. The first tests with a select group show a click-through rate of fifty percent in the feeds.

The service has long been different channels interesting articles by people selected and a group that seeks articles for newsletters. In addition, it is possible to set alerts for specific keywords, but then come articles that bound to go on a subject, but does not use that word, not forward.

Blendle in September 2015 in Germany was launched and started in March this year in the United States with a beta test is still ongoing. Articles from newspapers and magazines from Germany and the US are also available in the Netherlands and vice versa.

Users of blendle are on average 30 years old and most are under 35. How many readers use their account active and how many users blendle per country, was not disclosed.
