Blizzard is working on a new, yet unannounced, Diablo project

Blizzard has put a vacancy for a Dungeon Artist online. The employee has to work on a new, yet unannounced, Diablo project. It does not appear to be a port of an existing Diablo game.

The vacancy for Senior Dungeon Artist states that the employee will be involved in the building of ‘atmospheric dungeons’ and the modeling of the Diablo world. The candidate must have more than five years experience in building and assembling in-game environments.

From this text it can be seen that the ‘new, yet unannounced Diablo project’, which the employee is going to help with, is more than a port of one of the already released Diablo games. Rumors about a port of Diablo III for the Nintendo Switch have been around for a while, started in March by Blizzard himself .

In addition, there have been reports that Blizzard is working on a remaster of Diablo II . The company does not deny that it is working on this, but stated earlier that the game is not yet suitable for a polishing session, partly because we still have to work on techniques to keep bots and spammers out.
