Blizzard’s Silence Penalty handing in World of Warcraft

Blizzard’s World of Warcraft players who have more than once been reported as a spammer or abuser of chat in the game temporarily impose a penalty silence. During the punishment the player can not use many communication functions.

The function is active in the pre-update patch that, prior to the forthcoming enlargement Legion, which will appear on 30 August. The silence feature players who abuse the communication channels are punishable in the game. They can communicate only with others in channels that are specifically designed for raids, whisperen to friends and replies to whispers from players who are not a friend.

Players who have imposed the punishment, can not long first 24 hours talk send through general channels or in-game messages. If this does not help, Blizzard imposes a double penalty. According to Blizzard, there is no limit to the punishment, which according means the developer that players who often receive the punishment, a very, very long time “can not speak.
