‘Blood and Wine expansion for The Witcher 3 will appear May 30’




The second expansion for The Witcher 3 appears likely on 30 May. The Steam page with details about the DLC was a short time online and is a screenshot posted on Twitter. The page has since been removed.

The image shows the release date and a description of Blood and Wine. Until now it was known that the last DLC for The Witcher 3 could come in the first half of this year. Well spent developer CD Project Red late last year all the information out. According to the authors, the expansion includes more than twenty hours of gameplay.

Blood and Wine takes place in the region Toussaint, a landscape ‘is untainted by war and where a carefree atmosphere hangs still, according to the game studio. But that atmosphere is home to a bloody secret that unravel the player will have to see.

According to CD Projekt Red has the extension a huge area, which is visually very different from what gamers have come to expect from Wild Hunt, and the first DLC: Hearts of Stone. That first expansion contained approximately ten hours of gameplay. The new DLC is part of the season pass which costs 24.99 euros. Blood and Wine is also sold separately for 19.99 euros.
