Find a Question:
Bloodsport let gamers really lose blood when hit
The makers of Bloodsport have devised a way to encourage blood donations. They have designed a concept to allow players to truly lose blood when hit by bullets in the game.
Blood Sport works in the same way as the vibrations that are transmitted to a game controller: for example, as a player in the game is affected by bullets, then the controller to vibrate. Instead of shaking Bloodsport makes sure that blood from the arm of the player is met. In this way, the consequences of games are more realistic, according to the creators of Bloodsport.
For the connection between the game controller and the machine that decreases the blood is used an Arduino board. There is a signal that goes to the machine and a counter that tracks how much blood already in the arm of the player is removed. Based on age, weight and medical condition determines how much blood should be collected up.
The idea behind Bloodsport is not only creating a realistic gaming experience. With the concept of the creators want to make sure that blood donations are encouraged. Bloodsport has plans with interested Battlefield Hardline play, but the authors argue that the concept can work with every game.
With a Kickstarter Campaign hope the makers of Bloodsport collect enough money to carry out their idea. With sufficient funding is in March in Toronto, Canada, a campaign launched game, where gamers can come to donate their blood.Viewing:-222
