Blue Byte opens registrations closed beta in the year 1800

Publisher Ubisoft and developer Blue Byte hold a closed beta test for Anno 1800, for which players can register. The game itself comes out on February 26, shortly after the beta test. The two also give away the original Anno game from 1998, Anno 1602, temporarily.

Interested parties who previously participated in the Anno 1800 technical test do not have to do anything to be invited to this beta, says Ubisoft . On the basis of the announcement it is not entirely clear whether a registration also guarantees access to this new beta. The test begins on January 31 at 8 pm and ends on February 4 at the same time. Interested parties in Anno 1602 must register on a separate page , after which the game will be added to their uPlay account.

Anno 1800 focuses on the industrial revolution and therefore offers a lot in the field of technology development. In addition, players can travel to South America, where other landscapes, raw materials and such options are available. Tweakers has made a preview at the Gamescom exhibition of the game, including video.
