Borderlands and Civ: Revolution no longer playable online on PS3
Borderlands and Civilization: Revolution as of May 31, 2014 no longer playable online via the PlayStation 3 that publisher 2K Games has announced on its website.. The reason mentions the publisher taking down the GameSpy master server.
GameSpy logo 2K Games is currently investigating the possibility to migrate to other servers. GameSpy servers from the PS3 version of both games The PC version of Borderlands and Civilization III and IV will temporarily not be playable online. The servers of these games will be migrated to Steamworks. During migration, players can experience that does not work, among other matchmaking. Offline, however, the games would have to work flawlessly.
